Im not sure, exactly, what the concept was for this shoot, Im thinking hot boys in cool old bar, and then murder????
The boys in germany are naughty,fun,hung and a whole lot of nasty, not that is matters in the slightest, we are stuck here in the US not being able to run around around with these good natured perverts! I think a trip to Germany is deffinately on the company roster for Fall 2008!

KC Mendez Part 2

KC Mendez Photo Shoot Summer Pride 2007

Due to numerous requests, I am reposting this photo shoot for friends and family to be able to access and copy over some of the favorite pics from this awesome shoot. KC (dressed as Isis) Mendez was one of my best friends and favorite people. We spent the summer, with all our friends, running around, doing crazy gay stuff, for no other reason, than to enjoy life and have fun. A few days after the shoot around the pool, which KC spent hours at just laying out and telling us funny stories of his childhood in Hawaii, we went to KC's going away party in Capitol Hill. I had no idea that would be the last time I would see KC. He moved to SF to fall in love and to enjoy a different scene. I totally expected for him to move back to Seattle at any time. Late one night, after leaving the city with his friends, he was in a car accident that took his life. He is missed so terribly much.

Seattle Pride-2008!

What a great Pride this was in Seattle. Crowd estimates aren't official, but the number on the street seems to be ranging from 250,000 all the way to 400,000 folks. A number may not be possible since all media here has basically elected to ignore the fact that Pride even took place. As Sunday drew near, the weather kept getting hotter and hotter, and the news would mention events like "It's going to be a hot one for the taste of Tacoma" or I hope the Fremont Dirt Shrew run isn't cancelled due to the heat" (Yeah for all 200 fucking people involved in it." Yeah don't bother to mention that the biggest event in the city is going on or the fact that it is the second largest event of the year, next to sea fair." Yeah go fuck yourselves....I never really ever felt like I was discriminated against before, especially in liberal Seattle...until this year with this basically Pride news blackout. It was as if Karl Rove himself had threaten all the news stations. Anyway....pride was fucking awesome and the boys hot, the girls out of control...the drag queens partied and added that extra special color that truly defines a good party. Ajaxx63 had a booth and we sold the shit out of our stuff, we debuted the new summer ad campaign, which everyone loved...tourists were taking pictures of themselves with our banners and posters. So it was a great and meaningful event. At nite the bars were crowded beyond capacity and even though we started out early, we couldn't brave the 2 hour plus line to the Cuff and opted instead to go to Purr and even to the Wild Rose (lesbian bar) block party(we were showing support to our lesbian co-workers and getting to see a different side of Seattle.) We had to avoid all the other nite clubs in Seattle (again too crowded) and eventually poured ourselves into a cab and headed home!

More Summer ajaxx63 summer 2008 ad pics.

Due to overwhelming demand and interest, I am putting up more of the pics from our summer 2008 ad campaign photo shoot by Gabriel Goldberg. Let me start by saying, I love this campaign! Gabriel captured exactly what was going on inside my head to create a splash for summer 2008. What I didn't expect was just how much guys would react to the images. Most guys love it, love the model and love the way we choose to represent our company in a fashion ad campaign. (About 95% love it) Well, then there is the other 5% that are confused by it or think it is a bad way to sell t-shirts, " they are all ripped up....who would want ripped up t-shirts like that?" "is this fashion or 80's porn?" "You are blatently using sex to sell clothes" etc. My goal was to generate interest in the ajaxx63 fashion image not on a particular shirt per say so this has gone far beyond my goal. We do get asked about 2 times a day for the ripped up shirts though, and I have to admit, its not a bad idea.

The new look of ajaxx63-Summer 2008

Our good friend and super talented photographer Gabriel Goldberg worked on these images for our summer ad campaign. We are doing posters, postcards etc. for our stores and to be used as imagery online. The point of this campaign was to focus on our sexy image not so much on our shirts persee. Gabriel did a fantastic job of course and we look forward to seeing more of his work and his ability to interpret our product and our image.
